At Ruffo Coli, we believe that fabric is never just a material. It is a starting point, a creative impulse, a technical and cultural foundation. This belief comes to life once again through our collaboration with Stéphane Rolland, whose latest Haute Couture collection was unveiled during Paris Haute Couture Week 2026.
At the Origin of Couture: Our Fabrics in Stéphane Rolland’s Vision
For “Parade. Pablo Picasso au cirque”, Stéphane Rolland chose three of our most iconic silk fabrics -each developed in close dialogue with his atelier- to support the sculptural strength and architectural clarity that define his couture language. In this collection, fabric becomes structure, movement and expression, shaping silhouettes that balance monumentality with refinement.
Silk gazar, a signature of Rolland’s aesthetic, allows for precise, sculptural constructions thanks to its compact yet elegant body. Alongside it, two pure silk satins amplify the expressive richness of the collection: a luminous gold satin, fluid yet substantial, and a distinctive duchess satin that offers volume, roundness and a more subtle glow.
Together, these fabrics form the heart of the collection, reinforcing our role as trusted partners for international haute couture. For us, this collaboration is more than just a contribution: it is a shared vision in which fabric is at the very origin of the sartorial gesture, blending technical excellence and artistic imagination.
“Being chosen by Stéphane Rolland is an important recognition for us, one that highlights the continuity of our stylistic and technical research applied to Haute Couture. Placing our fabrics at the service of such a visionary and rigorous collection means actively contributing to the construction of an artistic language in which material, form and creativity engage at the highest level, reaffirming the fundamental role of fabric within the creative process”
